We are Palaemon Divers, established since July 2021
Our Dive Centres and Pools
We have 2 dive centres, one based at Prince Dock in Liverpool L3. Here we introduce our try dives to all the marine life under the surface of the dock. We also complete a number of workshops and confined diving at this location as it has a max of 2m depth.
The second dive centre which is opening in January 2023 is a bit further East in Warrington. Its central to where all the main travel routes run through in the North West so its easy to get to from anywhere! Just off the M6, M62 and M56 its an easy location to drop in.
Our compressor will be here for all your fills, for scuba and air guns, a fully stocked retail floor, classroom and our workshop. Which means that its your one stop shop for everything scuba!
Pool nights take place in 2 locations – Speke and Lymm. Which means our pools are easily accessible from anywhere in the North West!
Dive Club and Training
As an active dive club we are out diving 7 days a week, whether this is on day trips to Wales, the inland sites and also multi-day trips in other locations it means we can completely tailor your course to your availability. Next to this, we can tailor your course packages to suit your needs as well with workshops!
All our groups are small so we also fit in a lot of coaching time which you wont find anywhere else! Whats more…. our instructors are epic and no matter how confidents or not confident you are we can help you through!
Please note – we are open 7 days a week but we spend a lot of time off site and in the water so if you would like to pop down for a chat please drop us a message to discuss!
Palaemon Divers was born!
Instructor Leanne started up as a freelance instructor training in a lake as all the pools were closed!
Palaemon we started up at Austin Rawlinson Leisure Centre in Speke
We took on Princes Dock and taught our first Try Scuba Dives the week after
We are awarded the PADI Youth Approved Centre award for our work to safeguard the kids we teach
We opened our first physical centre at Princes Dock, giving us a classroom and other facilities with over 100 people attending our open day!
We are immediately awarded the PADI 5 Star Dive Centre Award
We have introduced 100s of adults and kids to scuba!
We took on our second dive centre – this time in Warrington, due to open in Jan 2023
Compressor arrives on site!
The doors open to Warrington and we are now open full time!
Also a huge welcome to Instructor Paul who has started with us full time in the shop, workshop and instructing
Our Instructors complete the SSI Instructor Crossover!
We are now able to offer even more amazing courses!
We welcome Craig to the team full time!
Craig comes to us with a wealth of experience in both recreational and technical diving and will be heading up our technical offering from OC to CCR
We become an SSI XR Centre, with technical courses now live!
